As part of our continued investment in Canadian talent, we are proud to announce an additional round of tryouts for our Academy program.

These sessions are open to male players born between 2011 and 2013 and are designed to identify and develop promising young athletes within our high-performance environment.

All tryouts will be held at:
Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre
7601 Martin Grove Rd, Vaughan, ON L4L 9E4

Player Eligibility

• Male athletes born from 2011 to 2013.

• DUE TO LEAGUE REGULATION Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• All players are responsible for their own transportation and personal expenses

• No refunds, except if the event is cancelled by the club

Cost

$47.00 CAD per player
The fee covers all three high-performance training sessions scheduled for each age group. Players may attend every session within their assigned week.
Non-refundable unless the tryout is cancelled by the club.

What’s Included in Your Tryout Fee?

• Participation in three on-field training sessions during the scheduled week for your birth year

• Evaluation by York United FC technical staff

• Our media team will be on site throughout the tryouts to capture professional photography of the event. 

Tryout Schedule:

Registration 1 (U-13 | 2013)

• 2013: November 24 | 12:30 to 15:00 PM

• 2013: November 25 | 12:30 to 15:00 PM

• 2013: November 26 | 12:30 to 15:00 PM

Registration 2 (U-14 & U-15 | 2012 & 2011)

• 2012 & 2011: December 1 | 13:30 to 16:30 PM

• 2012 & 2011: December 2 | 13:00 to 16:00 PM

• 2012 & 2011: December 3 | 13:30 to 16:30 PM

*Each registration grants access to a full three-day tryout block per player.

What to Wear

All players must arrive in:

• White shirt

• White shorts

• White socks

• Players must bring their own cleats (metal studs are not allowed)

After completing payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email with instructions to submit your full application, including playing history and contact details.

Note: Upon registration, all players (or a parent/guardian if under 18) will be required to sign a medical waiver and a media release form as part of the process

Important Notice for All Players

Please note that in order to participate in the tryouts, all players who are currently registered with another club must provide one of the following:

• A release letter from their current club, or

• A signed letter of authorization (permission letter) from their club allowing them to attend the tryouts.

This document must be presented at check-in on the first day of tryouts. Without it, players will unfortunately not be permitted to participate.
